Building Houses by History (BHBH)

The BHBH project was a EU funded Leonardo-da-Vinci “Transfer of Innovation” (TOI) program. Its  aim has been to internationalize the in-service training of building craftsmen in Sweden, Germany, Spain and Denmark and to help maintain the heritage of historic buildings by re-introducing traditional skills used by the historic mobile labour force that used to travel Europe and work wherever there was a possibility.
At the end of the project an international guidebook was published, to be used as international teaching tool, including restoration techniques and traditions of the four partner countries (Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Spain).
